im back from my short trip to PD!!!!
the trip was fun in its own way...i can really say that without the company we've had...it would be THE WORST mini holiday ever!!!!
i shall explain...
ok well things started off well, the meet off point and breakfast was at my place..
then we set off to Seremban to visit the Ostrich farm..where haha.. Sara almost got pee-ed on, saw HIGH female ostriches, stood on the eggs, rode an ostrich and tasted ostrich meet(yum!)....

an ostrich war dance lasts a few minutes..take that time to run and hide...
cause the ostrich can out run u anytime..when it has caught up to u..
prepared to be stampede on..or if ure behind it- get kick..
meaning..there goes your last few minutes on this earth!!
this is a high ostrich!! as in..she is in the mood for mating!!!
the eggs crack like normal eggs, but u can stand on them..
the males are the ones that sit and hatch the eggs after its laid..
it wont move UNTIL the egg hatch..

then we left and head on to PD....
when we got to the hotel...and thats when the *OMG!!! ewwwww....* feeling kicked in!!
lets tour the hotel shall we?!?
see, we decided to check out this new hotel called Tiara Beach Resort...
why? because "Tiara Beach Resort Port Dickson Malaysia's Largest Man- made Inland Sea Resort is the choice for fun"- as quoted!!
so called la..a Theme Park within the hotel...
looks promising huh?!?

theme park?!? its just one gigantic slide!!! and the water is abit yuck cause of the sand...u know those kids who played in the sand then jump in the pool to wash off...
worst of all!!! clowns would appear everyday at a certain hour or so to greet the crowd!! (more like scare the crowd la! :S)
ok lets enter the room...we went for a Family Suite with view...

- 24-hour room service> they told us, "they dont provide that service" wth?!? my mum gave them an earful then after 45mins, the towels came..i didnt even there use it..it look as though it was not wash properly...
- Individual air conditioning control> only aircond in the rooms..and i didnt see any control switch
- Complimentary mineral water> i didnt get this
- Maximum guests per room: 6> nothing to complain here...
- Kettle in the room> the kettle wire couldnt reach the plug..its like then u plug it up..it dangles there..so we had to use the TV plug...and also, it leaked!!!
- Mini refrigerator> it was hardly working!! hidden underneath the sink
- Living hall> erh? TV and a few wooden chairs?!?

the Bistro/Bar that we went too for drinks...was erhh?!? lets just put it this way..a joke la!!! MY HOUSE looks more like a bar/bistro than that place!!!
the pool table is horrible!!! and the overall outlook of the place was so turning off!!!
then, we decided to head off to the public beach..u know for some water sports fun!! we got there and we saw...

ARRRGHHHHH!!! GRRRRRR.....
so we ended up sitting at a stall for some coconuts and fried rice...which my dad looks at it and said: "this reminds me of Fear Factor"!!!

we head back to the hotel to get ready for dinner....30mins later when we meet at the corridor....we noticed no one dare shower (like me), i just freshen up and wore a set of clean clothes... :S
[well, this is an exception for the younger kids of the group, as they jumped into the pool!]
at dinner..things started to look up!! :)
we went to a good restaurant..the food was good!!! not fantastic(!) but good nevertheless... :) we brought white and red wine to drink as well...
things became from well(the begining), to worst(the hotel), to good(dinner), to better(our mini party)!!! :D
back at the apartment...we all washed up and got comfortable...and all 15 of us cramp ourselves in our suite for a small drinking session, twister and cards... :DD
this was the only highlight of the trip!!!! it was fun!!! :) :D

im not promoting this place nor am i dissing it...
its just we were really turned off!!!!
i went there with LOW expectations and the place still ended up BELOW my expectations!! sighh..
i mean..the place wasnt SO BAD la...but its bad...
if it werent for the company, my dad would have just ditch the place and gone home...
the entire idea of this hotel, lets just put it this way...its for kids!!! like ages between toddler to 12/13/14???
go with a bunch of adults and teenagers...we'll whip up the vodka so we can drink ourselves silly so we wouldnt have to think about the smelly bed sheets...
